Naypyidaw
For Depthcore XXX 30th release "EMPIRE"
look mom it's very green!

Naypyidaw is the capital of Myanmar (Burma). The name means "Royal City".
I heard of this first on a much too early saturdaymorning some months ago, my radio alarm wasn't switched off so it went on just before the 7 am newsreport started. Which was good because it gave me the idea for this piece.
Apparently a swedish journalist had managed what no other journalist in the world had before, to sneak a taperecorder through the well protected gates of this fresh new capital.
About 1 and a half a year ago (Nov, 2005) the Myanmar Government made it public that they intended to move all the high chiefs and top of the chain people, such as the royal family, military generals and politicians but also scientist and other experts to this new, said to be, ultramodern city called Naypyidaw. It's location was what interested me most i think. Naypyidaw was built, littleraly, in the middle of the deep Burmese jungle, with barely no communications at all to the outside world. Constantly guarded by the military, no video-, regular cameras or recorders had been allowed inside and it was all very mysterious, atleast for me in my half baked state of too-earlyness.
Basically the thought of this ultramodern royal city of kings in the middle of a deep jungle just stayed in my head all day and for weeks and days, until finally i sat down a couple of nights and poured it all out.

So here you go, i hope you like it.
And forgive me if anything i've written above is incorrect or misjudged, i'm no expert in this matter offcourse.

Jo jag var väl runt 16-17 också, men det var mest latjolajban på den tiden.
Appropå 3D så har ju Photoshop CS5 kommit med en 3D funktion som gör det busenkelt att skapa 3D objekt direkt i Photoshop. Vilket jag tycker är helt underbart eftersom jag helst vill jobba i så få olika program som möjligt, men det är aldrig fel med lite förkunskaper från ett rent 3D program så man har ett litet hum om vad som händer å varför.

Jag har inte msn men om du har några frågor eller funderingar så är det bara att maila mig på magnus.kjall@gmail.com, brukar vara ganska snabb på att svara där.

Okej! Asså jag kan ju inte säga att jag är världens seriösaste, men jag satsar och försöker hitta min stil.
Aa har hört det också!Jag ska under denna månaden försöka köpa CS5 men stundent-versionen. Är det ett bra köp eller finns det något annat liknande?

Vad behövs för att bli en duktig grafisk desginer (mer än att skapa fantastiska saker)? Eller rättare sagt för att bli ett stort namn.

Det här var Maxon Cinema 4D & Photoshop om jag inte minns fel. Corel Bryce är ett ganska klumpigt program att använda för illustration å printsaker, men som 3D-nybörjare tyckte jag det var lättare att förstå än t.ex C4D eller Autodesk 3D Studio Max. Det tar lite tid att lära sig de sistnämnda men i längden är det värt det istället för att sitta å grotta i Bryce. Alla tre finns nog att ladda ner via Piratebay
